Dr. Shenaigh Newman received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Alberta in 2011 and graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2016. She has always had a passion for treating pregnant and postpartum patients and that interest only grew after she became a mom in 2018. When not in the clinic, you can find her chasing after her toddler, snuggling her new baby or off on some new adventure in the mountains.
Philosophy & Style
Dr. Shenaigh delivers a hands-on, evidence-based, and patient-centred approach to treatment. She enjoys figuring out the root cause of the problem and helping give her patients the tools to help prevent the issue in the future. She believes that a well-rounded form of treatment is best and often combines manual therapy with education, stress management, nutrition guidance, and rehabilitation exercises. She is passionate about helping new moms (and dads!) navigate the journey into parenthood and helping them achieve their goals; whether it be to pick up their kid pain-free or to run a 10km next summer.
